My Biggest Weakness

I can pick out certain things about myself that I really don't like, but I can't really pinpoint what my greatest weakness is. I mean:

I can be Greedy when it comes to food.
I don't Say No often enough.
I am Materialistic.
I get Jealous/Envious more easily than I would prefer.
I am Conceited to an extent.

Obviously I am not the picture perfect person but there is always room for improvement. I work on my imperfections everyday. I think everybody needs a little improvement in some aspect.

My Life 5 Years From Now

5 years seems like a short period of time. I mean I met my husband 5 years ago, and flash forward to today: we got engaged, married, and became parents of 2 sweet puppies Zeus, and Charlie.

Things change in a moment so anything is possible, but there are quite a few things I am hoping to have accomplished in 5 years.

First off is the obvious.
In 5 years I hope there is a baby in the mix. Me and hubby will hit our next milestone into parenthood and I can't wait to get started.

In 5 years I hope me and my husband will be looking into buying a house. We have been renting for a year in a half now and as much as I am grateful for a place to live, I can't wait to start owning something and calling it ours. Also I have had the urge to paint something, preferably a kitchen or office lol.

In 5 years I want to be much better at taking pictures and actually know a price to quote to people when they want a few pictures taken. I am practically clueless right now and don't charge anything. I am going to figure it out though, that is a promise lol. I am getting better at angles and using my settings now. I need to crack open the manual and just read it. So far Pinterest and others suggestions have been my manual. Maybe a photography class is in my future. hmm.

In 5 years I want my dream job to be a reality. That isn't very realistic though because I want to be a pediatric nurse practitioner and I am barely halfway there. Pediatrics is my goal though and I hope to be much closer to the finish line 5 years from now.

I hope things change a lot and change for the better in the next 5 years. I don't think I am wishing for too much. Me and my husband grow everyday as adults and a married couple and it's a fun adventure. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for us in the next 5 years.

Thanks to My Minds Lens I found From Mrs to Mama where she has a weekly topic with a little link up to share your posts with other bloggers. I am taking this as an opportunity to meet new peeps! If you're interested you can share in the fun here!

Sometimes I Wonder

As it goes I am the biggest wuss ever. I don't do bugs, spiders, or things that fly (yes birds flapping their wings too close to me freaks me the hell out lol). It usually starts and ends with me shrieking like a crazy lady and hiding until the thing that scared me is killed or goes away. I think there could be one big phobia occurring here. I kind of hate that I am like that but so be it, keep the bugs AWAY from ME! Along with creepy, crawly, flyee things, I don't usually handle scary movie type things well either. So I can't explain to you exactly why I pleaded with my husband to watch this with me:

I've heard alot about it and was definitely not up for it when it first came out. But I have wanted to start a new season of something to watch. I have survived through the 4th or so episode now and I like it thrills and all. It's so slow paced at the moment but my friends tell me it will pick up. The zombies are super creepy looking and I had a little trouble sleeping at first. But I am in it now and won't stop until its over!

My husband refuses to watch anything that has to do with zombies, which is why I had to plead. He says there are too many movies about em and they should just give it a rest. I am honestly over the vampire stuff and am enjoying the change of pace. If a zombie apocalypse did happen though, rest assured this chick would probably be dead at the get go. Lol it's horrible I know but the truth is the truth. So lets hope this doesn't happen.

What isn't slow paced in the show though is the drama. From the get go the main guy is having issues and things get a little crazier by the end of the episode. I hate to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet but I think this is what has me hooked. I have a thing for drama type stuff on tv, like most americans it seems. I will let you know if I stick with it or not. I'll call it my walking dead update. I may include spoilers next time though! Things are getting quite interesting.

Testing, Testing, 1,2,3....

I'm just stepping my little toesies in the pond of blogs again. Seeing where this will lead. Things are much different now since the last time I typed  on the internet.

I am officially 20 times an aunt, with another on the way:

Experienced being a maid of honor:

Changed jobs yet again and on the verge of another one:

Even bought a new doggie:

Zeus is the new addition to the family, our now 6 month old great dane. He is work, let me tell ya! But it is an experience that I am having a blast with at the same time. Charlie is glad for the company too. Little bitty is the dominant too, it's hilarious to watch.

I will really get into this blogging thing in my next post, for now I am just working on customizing it :)

Peace, and roast beef!
