Summer Time!!

I remember in grade school when days led to the last day of school and little me was so excited to finally be out to sleep in and not worry about homework. The best part was hanging with friends all day every day. Oh those were the days, now even when it's summer I have the work grind to look forward to. Joy. Well today is lil' sis' last day! She had her awards ceremony the other day and I watched her win perfect attendance and A honor roll. Can we say dedicated smarty pants lol.

You see that razor scooter back there? I know you do. Well she got that for perfect attendance. I was like "Say what now!!??" I remember getting a thin piece of paper for attendance like she is holding above, and that is it! Last year she accomplished the same thing and got a bike! I wish they had come up with this stuff sooner! Oh yea and that camera sitting on top, I gave her that for her picture taking for the bucket list. Little bitty has already lost the charger for it so I might have given her that a bit too soon! lol.

I plan on taking some shots with my DSLR this weekend. I will show you guys how it all turns out :) #excited

Movie Night With Guests

Who here went to see Fast 6 over the weekend? Let's just say I didn't know that just came out on Friday...lol. We had a triple date on Saturday, my husband and I :)

Dinner and a movie was the game plan. It was fun, me and Jer never go out on double dates so it was a nice change of pace. Oh that is my husband, by the way, with all of his "manly" facial hair lol. I love it!
These are the others, one not pictured because hubby was in the way and refused to move so I could take my random pic (ugh) lol. They are our cousins actually and we all had a good time making inappropriate jokes at the table while a middle aged guy from across the room kept looking at Brittany. Awkward..

Fast 6 was super good, excuse my horrible english. It was totally worth the 7 bucks and the mile long line we had to stand in to be seated. And the ending: OH MY GOSH! I almost want to say "how could they!?" but I am going to stop right there. I have a nasty habit of giving away movies and things.

Double/triple dating is fun. I don't see why we didn't do this a long time ago! We are all getting together again today to celebrate Memorial Day! I am definitely grateful for soldiers helping keep our country as free as they can. The MD sales aren't so bad either lol. Happy Memorial Day peeps, I am gonna start it off right with a little Walking Dead (gotta catch up)! Peace out

Me and My Lil Sis + Our Bucketlist

This is my littlest sister, literally my sister in law, and she became my little bestie when she was 3. Well guess who is 8 now and still wants to hang out with her buddy! Alyssa is always down to hang with me because I actually play with her. I love kiddos and how their minds work and she surprises me all of the time.

This is us as at her school eating lunch. I haven't done that in a while but when I did she was always so excited.
She is a goofy little individual. I am not sure what I would do without my little buddy.
So we came up with our own little bucket list for the summer and I thought it would be a good idea to share it for anyone else looking for a challenge this summer. Vacation officially starts next thursday and first on our agenda is the lake! She has a little puppy and we thought it would be a great idea to take her's and my doggies to have a good time in the water and soak up some sun ourselves.

Anyways here is our agenda:
We are actually substituting slow dancing with midieval times instead since we aren't exactly a couple lol.

Defo can't wait to get started. Its so funny, Alyssa actually put them in a certain order and that is why the lake is first. We will see how this all goes. Hopefully we can finish em all in 2 months (Ha! That is super sad if we don't)

Sometimes I Wonder

As it goes I am the biggest wuss ever. I don't do bugs, spiders, or things that fly (yes birds flapping their wings too close to me freaks me the hell out lol). It usually starts and ends with me shrieking like a crazy lady and hiding until the thing that scared me is killed or goes away. I think there could be one big phobia occurring here. I kind of hate that I am like that but so be it, keep the bugs AWAY from ME! Along with creepy, crawly, flyee things, I don't usually handle scary movie type things well either. So I can't explain to you exactly why I pleaded with my husband to watch this with me:

I've heard alot about it and was definitely not up for it when it first came out. But I have wanted to start a new season of something to watch. I have survived through the 4th or so episode now and I like it thrills and all. It's so slow paced at the moment but my friends tell me it will pick up. The zombies are super creepy looking and I had a little trouble sleeping at first. But I am in it now and won't stop until its over!

My husband refuses to watch anything that has to do with zombies, which is why I had to plead. He says there are too many movies about em and they should just give it a rest. I am honestly over the vampire stuff and am enjoying the change of pace. If a zombie apocalypse did happen though, rest assured this chick would probably be dead at the get go. Lol it's horrible I know but the truth is the truth. So lets hope this doesn't happen.

What isn't slow paced in the show though is the drama. From the get go the main guy is having issues and things get a little crazier by the end of the episode. I hate to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet but I think this is what has me hooked. I have a thing for drama type stuff on tv, like most americans it seems. I will let you know if I stick with it or not. I'll call it my walking dead update. I may include spoilers next time though! Things are getting quite interesting.

Testing, Testing, 1,2,3....

I'm just stepping my little toesies in the pond of blogs again. Seeing where this will lead. Things are much different now since the last time I typed  on the internet.

I am officially 20 times an aunt, with another on the way:

Experienced being a maid of honor:

Changed jobs yet again and on the verge of another one:

Even bought a new doggie:

Zeus is the new addition to the family, our now 6 month old great dane. He is work, let me tell ya! But it is an experience that I am having a blast with at the same time. Charlie is glad for the company too. Little bitty is the dominant too, it's hilarious to watch.

I will really get into this blogging thing in my next post, for now I am just working on customizing it :)

Peace, and roast beef!
